PPGI, also known as pre-painted galvanized iron, is an innovative coil-coated steel product with a hot-dip galvanized base metal. It is packaged goods waterproof and rust-proof for seaworthy requirements according to the customer's needs. The delivery time is within 7 working days and payment terms are L/C, T/T, Western Union, with supply ability for the PPGI. The coil weight is between 3-8MT with a length of 1000-6000mm. The color is in accordance with the RAL Color System and the coil external diameter is between 1000-1500mm.
PPGI Packaging and Shipping:
PPGI is typically shipped in coils weighing between 5 to 15 metric tons. The inner diameter of the coil is normally 508 mm or 610 mm, and the outer diameter can reach up to 1,800 mm. The width of the coil can vary according to customer specification. The coil is secured with wire or strapping and then wrapped in plastic foil. This is done to ensure the safety of the coil during transit.
The coil is then loaded onto either wooden or steel pallets and shrink-wrapped for further protection. Care is taken to prevent damage to the edges of the coil, as well as to ensure the coil is not damaged during loading and unloading. The palletized coil is then loaded into a container or truck for shipping.
