Q195-Q345 Carbon Steel Profile 6m-12m 0.3mm-60mm C/H/T/U/Z Type
There are four main types of carbon steel profile channel: C-channel, U-channel, Z-channel, and W-channel.
C-channel: The C-channel is the most basic type of carbon steel profile channel. It is made up of two flanges (the top and bottom part of the channel) that are connected by a web (the middle part of the channel). C-channels are used in a variety of applications, including construction, machinery, and automotive industries.
U-channel: The U-channel is similar to the C-channel, but it has a U-shaped cross section. This gives the U-channel more strength than the C-channel. U-channels are commonly used in doors, windows, and cabinets.
Z-channel: The Z-channel is similar to the C- and U-channels, but it has a zigzag shaped cross section. This gives the Z - channel more strength than either the C - channel or U - channel . Z - channels are commonly used in structural applications such as wall framing .
W - channel : The W - channel is also similar to the C - ,U - ,and Z - channels , but it has a double web which makes it very strong . W channels are used in load bearing applications such as ceilings and floors .
